Visual Inveiglement

mon cherie,

(In response to your comments)

The images speak for themselves hence the absence of any text initially. And yes perhaps you're right I may be using them to portray the upcoming trend. But better still, the images are meant to be equivocal and I definitely intended for double entendre. So kudos to everything you make out of them 0:)

...nope those Barbie dolls are NOT modelled after The Pussycat Dolls, neither are the models from PCD (they are advertising for M.A.C.)

À la prochaine

interesting that this post does not have any opinion summary or text.

i'll reflect directly on the barbie doll pictures. i'll think of it as an attempt to send a message that looking like dolls is the trend. and it might work considering the gullibility of kids these days.

i'll probably choose the eagles over pussycat dolls anywhere, any day, anytime.

  6. IMO, the doll-look is not everyone's cup of tea. I prefer au naturale beauty actually.

Then again, beauty is common. Whats more important is personality, energy and outlook.

(Btw, i think theres too much mascara on their falsies..)

  7. LOL!..The human beings studio photos Really so looks like Barbie Dolls. They carru heavy make-ups on their faces and really intense long fake eyelashes. Indeed, it's like the song from Aqua I'm a barbie girl living in a barbie world..Pretty unrealistic appearance..where 100%prominence in facial features. Like so plastic..-Just comment =D

i don't see where the double-entendre is hehe. can u explain? but these pictures definitely pay tribute to the highs in the development of the photo-editing and make-up industry:) the irony i see here is how the original concept of beauty (which should be natural) has been ravaged by perverse ideologies sparked from vanity and popularised by the mass media. the doll should envisage the elegance of the human body, not the other way around.
